UPrinting.com Review & Giveaway

One of my favorite places to visit when it's time to get away from it all is the family cabin on Lopez Island. Unfortunately we are only able to make it up a couple of times a year (which isn’t nearly enough!).

Since finding extra time to get away is all but impossible, I’ve been looking for a way to bring a bit of the cabin to the mainland. What better way that to have a large, high quality picture of the calming, peaceful view from the cabin, strategically placed on the wall above my desk when I need to sit back and take a few minutes of vacation away from the hectic (more like chaotic!) world in which I live?

I had looked at a number of options in the past, but ultimately put my project on the back burner as I hadn’t found an online printing solution I was comfortable trying.

As luck would have it, I was introduced to uprinting.com

They have a whole host of options for your printing needs, including (but certainly not limited to) poster printing and custom posters. Please visit the links for more details.

The best part? They have generously agreed to host a giveaway, now my good fortune can be yours as well!

One lucky winner will win an 18”x24” Poster Print Semi gloss OR high gloss, 1 business day turnaround time.

Zaycon Foods

In CategoryMy Life, Reviews & Giveaways

Have you heard of Zaycon Foods yet? If not, follow the link and check them out. I have absolutely loved every single thing I've gotten from them. I've ordered chicken twice now (best chicken ever!) and beef once...I think they look and taste better than anything you can buy in a store. I love that everything is fresher than in the store. You buy in bulk which is handy for me...I have an extra freezer in the garage just for this reason! I like to stock up so I don't need to shop as often :)

Last year I also picked up some of their apples. I made so much applesauce, we're still eating it! Recently I picked up a bunch of peaches and canned those as well. I plan to snap up even more of their peaches and apples next time they're available! I like stocking up my shelves for the winter when we don't have as much yummy produce available.

I received an email today that their bacon event starts tomorrow...I'm so excited! I haven't tried their bacon yet, but I've heard wonderful things. I'm now trying to find someone to split my order with though...there is no way we'll eat 30 lbs of bacon in a timely manner! Which means hopefully I'll get my sisters or mom turned onto the convenience and deliciousness of Zaycon Foods! So if you haven't checked them out, do so! It's worth the initial effort of picking up the product and processing it yourself...and in my opinion it's healthier than the stuff they have in the stores!

Review: Copco Teakettle

Copco Bella Enamel-on-Steel Teakettle

I got my Copco Teakettle 8 years ago for my birthday. I LOVE it. I still use it almost daily.

My Copco Teakettle holds 2 quarts of water...more than enough for my tea, my husbands and any recipe where I need boiling water! It boils the water pretty darn fast, it's not TOO loud, but it's loud enough that I hear it from the other room. My only complaint is washing it...after 8 years, it's a little grimy and I never feel like it's super clean.

I would definitely recommend this teakettle. I've had mine for 8 years and it's still in great shape and works as well as it did right out of the box!

Review:Neutrogena UltraSheer® Liquid Sunblock

In CategoryReviews & Giveaways
BySandy

I've been using Neutrogena UltraSheer® Liquid Sunblock for over a week now. I like that it's very light and doesn't feel greasy on my skin. The scent isn't unpleasant and so far it doesn't bother my sensitive skin. It goes on smooth and I can put my makeup on over it with no problems. I really like Neutrogena UltraSheer® Liquid Sunblock and recommend it.
