So...I do quite a few blog hops. I have at least one every day of the week except Saturday. Towards the end of the week? I have 2 or 3. I'm going to stop doing that. I love blog hops, but I am having a really hard time keeping up!
I wake up at 6 am each morning to catchup on blogs in my Google Reader...I go to bed around 9 or 10 and make sure the number of posts left to read is below 10. Guess how many new posts there are when I wake up? Usually over 150. SO...I will be taking a little time this weekend to clean up my Google Reader. I need to organize it better so I know what I need to read right away, what I can put off a day or two and what I just never read.
With the nephew here three days a week I'm having a lot of trouble getting things done in a timely manner. I could be mistaken, but I sure don't remember Scotty being this much work at 2 years! He was so independent and listened. I'm sure the nephew will get better, he's still learning the rules and how things go around here. It's just a little tiring right now!
SO...I think I'm going to cut back to Blog Hops on Tuesdays and Fridays only. Possibly a weekend one if I feel like it. That works great because they are both days that the nephew is here, so I have the days after to catchup and take my time! Hopefully this plan works...and the rest of the week? I can actually post things I care about!
Hopefully I have a productive weekend and can get a bunch of posts done to publish slowly! For now, I'm off to bed so I can wake up early tomorrow for another day with the nephew!

How is July almost over already? Today will be the first day of my second week watching my nephew...I can't believe A) July is almost over and B) it's going to be the 2nd week the nephew is over! Time is just flying by for me lately. I've managed to keep pretty darn busy, hopefully I can continue to be productive and get down a system to stay on top of the blog! The hubby and I sat down to brainstorm last night and I *think* I have a direction to take this blog now...I just need to get my bum in gear and get some posts done so I can space them out. Exciting! I feel so much better now that I have a plan of attack...I was feeling a bit lost and like I was a fish out of water with no direction!

I WILL follow back...I'm still playing catchup from last week, but will hopefully be caught up from last week by Monday night and back on schedule by Wednesday! It's amazing how little I get done while chasing an extra kid around three days a week!
I've been using Neutrogena UltraSheer® Liquid Sunblock for over a week now. I like that it's very light and doesn't feel greasy on my skin. The scent isn't unpleasant and so far it doesn't bother my sensitive skin. It goes on smooth and I can put my makeup on over it with no problems. I really like Neutrogena UltraSheer® Liquid Sunblock and recommend it.

So...I woke up this morning at my regular time, 6 am. I can manage this because I know I have coffee waiting. You see, when my fancy espresso machine bit the dust (this was the 3rd!) I made the switch to regular coffee. This was great! Instead of spending $100+ on a fancy machine, I spent $25 (it was a $40 machine on sale at Freddy's).
Well, apparently I'm just hard on coffee machines of any kind. I *think* I got this one around Christmas, but I don't really remember. I can't find my warranty or receipt anywhere. Yesterday we noticed the coffee got cold really fast. The burner under the pot was cold. Crap.
I set it up last night (it has a timer, love it!) thinking it would make my coffee and I'd be up at 6 and able to drink at least one cup hot before needing to microwave it...not so much. The stinking coffee machine won't even run the coffee through it now! I'm so sad. Thankfully I had some cold coffee in a container in the fridge. I nuked that and am sipping lukewarm microwaved coffee.
So guess what I *might* do today? I might throw the boys in the car and either A)drive to the shop (dad's other house full of junk) and grab a coffee pot I saw sitting upstairs or B) take the boys to Target and buy a new one. If it were just Scotty and me? I'd totally go to the shop. I'm just not comfortable taking the nephew there. It's pretty dirty and not really child-proofed...Scotty knows to stick with me and be careful, nephew? Not so much.
So we'll see. In the meantime, I'm sadly sipping cold coffee. And totally going to amazon.com to review this stupid coffee pot.

I may be a little slow to follow back, but I WILL follow back! Week 1 of watching the nephew is almost over...I didn't realize how busy I'd be! It makes me appreciate Scotty that much more. He's so darn easy to keep busy and occupied! With Tues/Thurs/Fri spent watching the nephew, that leaves me Mon/Weds and weekends to catch up on the blog (on top of my 6-8 am computer time). Not nearly enough time!
