Yay! The fever has broken...we might have a chance in heck of still having a birthday party this weekend! Someone has perked up quite a bit, ate all his supper and is back to his stubborn self. His temp is 99.4, down from 101.7 this afternoon. Lots of sleep and liquids...I'm really hoping the hubby and I don't come down with this, we have a bit to get done in the next two days. Main thing I wanted done today? A new battery picked up for our car. It's sitting at the top of our driveway dead...right where I usually put our trash cans for pickup. Our garbage guys might be a little irritated with me tomorrow!
Well, I'm going to get to it. Comments to approve, blogs to follow and some giveaways to enter after the kidlet is in bed for the night! Tonight should be interesting...it's 75 degrees inside and this kid likes me to pile stuffed animals on top of him so he can sleep. Too hot for me!

Well, not wasted really...I just haven't gotten much done. I did manage to spray for bugs with some new organic bug spray I won at Grammy Janet's Place. Here's to hoping it works, these little flies are driving me batty! You'd think our house is really dirty with how many of them we get each summer, but it's pretty darn clean!
SO...we're having over 20 people over on Saturday for the kidlet's 3rd birthday party. He was a little cranky last night, but what kid isn't after an exciting day? He went to Toys R Us with his dad and Grandpa to pick out his birthday present from Grandpa. Well, he woke up this morning even crankier. He felt warm, but it's a little toasty in our house right now so I decided to just keep an eye on him. He barely ate breakfast. All he wants to do is lay down on the couch. I finally got him to sit still around 1 or 2 so I could get his temp and the poor kid has a temp of 101. So he's on the couch with his juice and water. I gave up and threw a diaper on him so we didn't have to rush to the bathroom when his tummy hurt. I just hope he feels better soon. So...that's why I've been pretty absent today and will be for the rest of the day. I'm headed back to "huggle" (his words, not mine, how cute, right?) my little sickie on the couch while we watch Word World.

I just looked at the calendar and realized my baby turns three in one week! He hasn't been a "baby" for a while, but he's growing so fast! And I have 4.5 days to get ready for his birthday party with the fam (28 people so far!) and then I need to come up with something special for just us on his REAL birthday. In my family we celebrate about 15 times so you get to see everyone. I haven't even planned with my dad and aunt yet.
Seriously though, how the heck is he 3? It went by so fast...I'm so not ready for him to start school in another 2 years...I'm done. I just had to get that out. I can't believe he's going to be 3. I can't wait for him to open his presents from us...I didn't spend a dime, yay! Here's what he's got to open:
