Goodbye Blogger & Google Reader!
Thank god I married a computer nerd. I failed Media 109. I messed up the final in the last two hours and couldn't figure it out. It was all HTML. Did you know if you hit ONE wrong key, it messes up the whole thing? And that after working on it for 3 hours, your eyes start to cross and you can't find your error? Yeah, neither did I. That's why I married myself a computer nerd 
So I woke up this morning at 6:15. This is my normal time, I wake up slowly with a nice cup of coffee and read my blogs, enter giveaways, read reviews and all that fun stuff. Essentially, enjoy the quiet with the ability to think clearly after my first cup of coffee. I've come to love this morning routine, despite the 6:15 am wake up call.
This morning though? Sucked. Big time. I woke up, turned on the computer and went to get a cup of coffee. Everything is fine at this point. Get back to my computer and open up reader...and I can't. My account has been disabled. And my blog has disappeared. WHAT??? I'm sure that I'm seeing things, my coffee hasn't kicked in yet. So I keep trying. Nope, my blog is gone. *sigh* What a way to start the morning.
Did I mention that it's gone with no warning? No indication of why or what to do? Just gone. So is my Google Reader account. It's disabled...my list of 100+ blogs is gone. I don't remember them all. I'm so sad. It's been a long day of waiting to see if something magical would happen. So far no.
The worst part is the not knowing why. At first, I felt horrible thinking I did something wrong. After hearing how many other bloggers were having the same issues, I'm hoping that's not the case. And if it is? I hope I find out so I don't repeat the mistake! In the meantime, it was the catalyst that forced me to move to WordPress, change my blog name and learn a new tool. And owe my hubby big time

I can't believe how many blogs had trouble yesterday.. so sorry yours was one of them! And yes, HTML is a PAIN... I can't tell you how many times my eyes have gone crosseyed while I was working on something LOL I thought about switching after the fiasco yesterday, but not sure I'm ready to start all over. Good luck with your new site.. I am following! I also switched the URL for your button on my blogroll

Thank you so much Julia! It was horrible yesterday, but I'm feeling much more optimistic about it today! Possibly because my old blog is back? Ha ha ha. I'm doing okay with the HTML, there are quite a few blogs and tutorials out there with tips on how to do things. Thank you for changing my button! I'm going to attempt to create a new one in the next few days. Not sure if I'll just use the old one and change the name? Or go with something completely new. Thanks for being a follower!
