This is a Blog Hop! 15 entries so far... you're next!
Now that I've updated and posted all the blogs I've been winning...I'm just going to ramble.
Yesterday I got up at 6 am...yep, 6 am on a Saturday. I got dressed, jumped on here and caught up on a handful of blogs before jumping in the car and heading to Mom's. Mom and I then jumped in the car and ran to Dana's to pick her up to go get the U-Haul. Dana was up in her room on the floor watching a movie. She hadn't even gotten dressed yet. She was super pumped to move
We finally got in the car and ran to pickup the U-Haul and we all started to wake up at that point. We got a bunch moved into the truck while waiting for the twins (my other two sisters) and the boys (their husbands) to get there. Leah and Cort got there first and moved the bed into the truck, by the time Ec and Todd arrived we were ready to move the last of the upstairs (the big dresser that the boys had to move!) and were making a big dent. Dana is awesome and had most everything in the garage so it was just a matter of moving it onto the truck, not navigating.
We finally finished loading up the truck and all 3 cars and started the caravan to Tacoma. Finally arrived at Dana's new apartment and got the truck unloaded (it went REALLY fast with all of us helping). Even pregnant Erica. She got yelled at by all of us at least once. You know, moving a DVD player is WAY too strenuous. Ha ha ha. I remember being pregnant and getting yelled at for things like that. Anyhoo, after the truck was unloaded the twins and the boys headed out. Mom and I stayed to help Dana unpack a bit. We managed to get her bed together & made, I unpacked her kitchen and I think mom got some of her linens put away? I don't really remember...I was focused on putting her kitchen together right. Dana wasn't much help.
We finally jumped back in the car (and Dana drove the U-Haul) and dropped that off, back to the townhouse and then we all went home.
I walked in the door and Scotty looked at me with a big excited smile and said "Mom! It's mom! That's my friend Dad! "(pointing at his dad) and then went back to playing. Nice to know I was so missed
I think he wants me to leave for a whole day again. I gave them permission to open the Trix & Cocoa Puffs I won in another giveaway. AND he got to watch Mickey Mouse. So he was pretty happy without me today
And that's pretty much it...this is quite a bit longer than I meant it to be, so I'm going to stop now and go have another cup of coffee and throw some laundry in before the kiddo wakes up!

I also won the Label Daddy School pack over at Shelley's Swag! Pretty neat, right? I don't know exactly how I'm going to use these yet, but they sounded pretty neat and I wanted to try them, so I went ahead and entered the giveaway. Yay! Be sure to head over to both Label Daddy and Shelley's Swag to check them out. I LOVE Shelley's swag. She has lots of reviews & giveaways, coupon deals and freebies!

Scott is going to see all these cookbooks I've won and assume I'm going to be cooking new things, huh? Maybe I should have thought this through before entering the Giveaways!
Another one I won...A Make Ahead Meals Cookbook! I'm pretty excited for this one. I really like things I can make ahead of time. Sometimes it's just hard to get into the kitchen and get something ready for supper on time.
Head over to Mom's Focus on Cyber World for some more giveaways and reviews!

I won a Paula Deen My First Cookbook, a cookbook holder and an apron! Scotty's been loving "helping" in the kitchen, so I'm really excited for this! I had already purchased a cooking set for him at Barnes & Noble for his birthday with a Chef's hat and some measuring cups, etc. for his birthday, so this will go with it perfectly! I am so excited!
Go check out Mommies Faves for more awesome giveaways and a neat blog!
At my sisters...all day. That's what happens when I have the bright idea to offer to help her pack. You see, she's moving this weekend...Memorial Day Weekend. At least there's no snow...that's when WE moved. We do it right in our family
Scotty and I headed over around 1 or so and helped her pack a bit. I got a few bags of clothes from her for me and some stuffed animals for Scotty. Score! AND a big box of candy. Scott was thrilled about that. We finally got home around 7:30 or so...Scotty passed out in his carseat about 10 minutes after we left her house.
Tomorrow I will be waking up earlier than I do during the week...I've been told to be at Mom's at 7:15 in order to go pick up Dana (the moving sister) to go get the moving truck. *sigh* I deserve it for offering to help move. I WAS off the hook because of the kiddo. I offered anyway and told them I could leave him at home. So now I get to leave here by a little after 6:30 to go help move. Blah.
So when I get back tomorrow from moving? I'm hoping Scotty is napping and I have time to catch up. I have about 60 posts sitting unread on my Google Reader. I hate that. I really really hate it. It's the reason I wake up at 6:30 am when the boys sleep in till 8 am. I need to be caught up, otherwise I think I'm missing something. Instead of staying up right now and reading them all though, I am going to go get the coffee pot ready to go, clean up a little bit so I don't need to in the morning, then go to bed.
I'm sure I'll have some funny stories to share after the move...it's inevitable with my family. There's the time that mom dropped the keys down the hole in the side of the truck...that's the main one that sticks out, but it was fun
Meet Moo Cow and Scotty:
Pretty angelic, right? Don't let his looks deceive you, he's a sneaky little bugger. Here's our conversation from today that resulted in me being yelled at by Moo and both Moo and Scotty getting sent to his room:
Scotty: It's NOT quiet time mom!
Me: Then you need to sit quietly.
Scotty: Turn on Word World!!!
Me: Nope, I'm watching my show right now, it's quiet time.
Scotty : with a few tears thrown in for effect
Me: Stop it or you can go to your room
Scotty :
Me : Was that some attitude? Or were you playing with Moo?
Scotty : Moo Cow just yelled at you.
Nice. My 2 year old (almost 3!) is making his stuffed animals yell at me now. And? He seemed to think just Moo needed to go to his room, not him. A 5 minute time-out and he was ready to come out of his room, but according to him Moo Cow needed to take a nap. Nice.
