I’ve been horrible about updating, I know. We’ve been busy with getting Christmas stuff up and dealing with tantrums and all the fun that goes with a 2 year old with little patience. I’m sorry to say that Scotty’s got my temper. It makes for an interesting day. AND he may be growing (again!) and has just been pushing buttons constantly. On the bright side, we’re usually at home so he just goes to his room until he calms down.
Scotty seems to have grown a ton in his abilities lately. He’s been talking really well, using complete sentences. We’re working on pronunciation of certain words/sounds. He really likes cooking in his little play kitchen and doing a bunch of pretend play. He absolutely loves a Winnie the Pooh house with the characters that Jen gave us. Auntie Dana bought him a dinosaur at Target the other day and he loves that too. And he may have my temper (not so good) but he ALSO has my excitement for Christmas (yay!). He loves all the Christmas music so far and has helped me put up a bunch of our Christmas decor.
Scott is still at home working on the mortgage side of things. So if anyone needs him, feel free to call! I was a little worried about him working at home again, but we’re doing much better this time. Before Microsoft I was pretty bad about interrupting, as was Scotty. I *think* we’re doing better this time, it’s easier to leave him alone when his office is not right next to the family room!
Not much else is going on around here, so I will add some pictures and then I’m off to bake some cookies and finish picking out music for Matt!
