It’s been a few days…I have had “update blog” on my to-do list for a couple of days now. So…here I am. Not much is going on around here. I tend to forget what I’ve already typed and I’m too lazy to go back and look, so work with me here.
Scott: Is still at Microsoft. His contract is up at the end of September. He had an appointment with his Volt Rep and things sound good. He’s studying to get his Project Management certification and it sounds like there are quite a few of those positions. So hopefully the ball of stress about that will go away soon 
Scotty: Is doing great. He’s testing us at every turn, but he IS two. I have to watch myself because I’m just as stubborn as him but I AM the parent. Scott laughed at me this morning because Scotty tore up my toe-separators (for painting my nails) and I pointed out that if I was his sister? I’d find something of his and break it. Unfortunately, I had to be an adult about it and sat him in time-out and we discussed WHY that was wrong. I don’t know if he got it, but he did give me a big hug and apologize. He’s also getting into potty training again. I caught him today and got him on the potty and he went #2! Exciting. I’m hoping that once we are able to stay home all day next month we can focus a bit more on it. It’s a little more difficult when we have to jump in the car every day to run to Ec’s. Which is why I haven’t been trying very hard with the whole potty training thing!
Me: Well, as you can see from above we are going to be done letting Erica’s dogs out every day. I told her I’d finish this month and then Dana is going to take over until she finds a new job. The past few weeks Scotty asks to stay in the car. If it’s too hot out, I make him come inside and he sits on the counter. Max jumps on him and I’m not quick enough to get him off Scotty. Scotty won’t tell him no, so I don’t have too much sympathy for him. Overall, I’m going to enjoy not having to run out every day to let them out. I just need to find a new reason to get dressed every day now!
I think that’s about it as far as updates go…we’re exciting, I know We’re headed to the zoo on Wednesday with Dana and Mom, very excited for that. And on Friday we’re supposed to go to Enchanted Village and Wild Waves with Tina and Tyler. That will be a blast (I hope!)
AND…this weekend Scotty is staying the WHOLE WEEKEND!!! with Grandma and Poppy! Scott and I are really excited about that. We’ll be celebrating our 5th Wedding Anniversary on the 1st of September. We’re going to take advantage of mom and Ron for a weekend and be kid-free. No clue what we’re doing yet, but we’ll come up with something. Heck, sleeping all day is enough for me
